Default Lowering a 2002 V70

I was looking to lower my 2002 V70 and I was wondering if anyone else has done it and how it looks and handles. I just have the base FWD 2.4 model. Also where I can get some decent quality but inexpensive springs to complete the job.

shox.com, you will need to look up your car. But I got koni sports with B&G springs for less than $700 shipped. That gave me a 1.6" drop. No if your gonna do the springs you might as well to the shocks/struts since they will need to be pulled anyways.

Yes it is recommended that when you do one suspension part upgrade you do the rest. However it is not needed.

But your shocks/struts will wear out quicker with just installing lowering springs and not upgraded shocks/struts. How fast? That is dependent on factors.

Depends on what you want, koni sports/lowered gave my car a rougher ride, but I can also go around corners at like 70mph that before I could only go 45mph. Anytime you lower you car expect a stiffer ride. Im not sure what packages are avail but if they have the koni fsd and tme 1" lower springs I would go for that. But the question really comes down to: Do you want - handling or comfort? Also a stiffer shock will give you more handling at a better speed, but a soft shock will give you a faster turn. SO what are you wanting in the end?
