My Volvo V70 lose power

Hi friends, I recently owned a used volvo V70 and was happy with it. But unfortunately when I did my first long drive then the car just lost power, the dashboard just goes off, the transmission will not work anymore but the engine is still working well.
somebody told me maybe is the ECU problem. I am planning to visit the volvo dealer here in Orlando but I just wanna know if there is anybody with a similar problem and what was the remedy for this kind of problem.
It is so sad that Volvo is trying to break my pocket right now.
Any suggestion is welcome

Start with diagnostics. It could be many things. You need to gather information about what is working and what isn't. My experience when fishing for people having similar problems ends up costing more time and money.

And stop blaming Volvo for the problem.

Your post #1 in this thread didn't really provide any useful information. People here will try to help you if they can figure out what you're talking about. Lot of good smart folks around this forum who want nothing more than the satisfaction of being able to help someone out.

For what it's worth I concur with VTBricked; time to grow up, show some respect, and take responsibility for yourself. Good luck! :)
