Oh No! Help Please.
 

Okay I just bought this car a few days ago. 06 V70R 6spd... Now, my gas light is on but im at 3/4 of a tank. And the thing of it is, my gas gauge works. Also my check engine light is on. Im smelling something weird from the vents too, like a sweet smoky smell or whatever. Can anyone give me any info on this? My dealer is over 60 miles away and I cant get time off work to get it there. Is this a common problem or no? Thanks for anything.

It's a brand new car. You have to get it to the dealer somehow. Usually when it's under warranty they provde you with a loaner car while they have your car. Tell them the problem and you want them to come and get it and provide you with a car while they have it. Is there a dealer closer than 60 miles? You don't have to take it to the same dealer you bought it from when it's that far away.
