regular key won't turn, valet key will
 

Hi all,

On my wifes 2002 V70 the both keys that are pat of the fob (switch blade key) will not turn at all in the ignition. However, the valet key works. Of course, this is happening just after volvo says the warranty expired. I need to look into this as we took delivery in August, but they are saying the in service is 6/30.

Any ideas onthe cause? Somthing with the chips in the keys maybe?

Maybe try spraying a little WD-40 or some Graphite into the lock assembly and see if it helps.
