repainting headlight buckets
 

My 1998 headlights are not reflecting as much light anymore. I installed new bulbs and have proper voltage. While doing this and investigating, I noticed the reflecting part of the bucket was peeling off. I was wondering if anyone has ever repainted the silver/grey back part of reflector. I do not think it would work, due to the heat and all, but was just wondering.
