Default Front brake rotor removal and brake system bleeding

Hello - I have a 1998 V70 XC AWD turbo auto 2.4 5-cyl. I am presently changing brake rotors, pads, hoses and the driver's side lower control arm and tie rod end. I have removed the brake caliper and pads, the rotor retainer and the locator pin for the wheel that also aligns the rotor. I had thought I could simply pull the rotor off, or tap it around its edges with a hammer, but it doesn't seem to want to move. Have I missed anythng? Does anyone have any tips for removing the rotor?
When I get everything back together, are there any peculiarities regarding bleeding the braking system, re. the ABS or anything else?
Thank-you.

Once the caliper and bracket are out of the way, the only thing that holds the rotor on is the little guide pin. The rotor is probably frozen (rusted) to the hub - a hammer should free it up.
Re the bleeding-I've had the "pleasure" of bleeding several volvos recently (inc. a V70R) and have found them easy to do.

Thanks Mikeori! The rotors were easy, and I found that applying pressure with the likes of a ball joint separator, while tapping with a hammer, broke them free quite easily. Having one or two lug nuts loosely in place while freeing the rotors prevents them falling when loose. Bleeding the brakes seems impossible with the wheels on unless one has a lift, though ramps give limited access to the front bleed nipples.
