Hi all -
Haven't been on here for a while hope everyone is well. I had noticed about last Fall my V70XC sounded like an airplane engine when I started him up. I assumed the cooling fan because it happens a few times in a drive. It's gettting louder now. Any insight? Did I assume correctly? How worried should I be? I won't be able to get to the mechanic till Oct 15th.

Probably the SAS pump. If you can stand the whine, don't bother spending the money. Happens on cold starts? But I could be incorrect too.
