I bought a Volvo 2006 v70, it died while I was driving it. I had it now for almost a year, this just happened on 3/25/2023. My gas needle was a quarter from empty so I was able to start it up and I put the needle on half a tank. I drove it home and it sits in my driveway, it start up but afraid to take it out. I’m bringing it to my mechanic when I get money in the bank. My wife and I live on a fixed income. Any suggestions?

Fill it up with gas and see what happens - there may be a problem with the "transfer pump" that keeps the "saddle" gas tanks equal.

I will do that thank you, I don’t know what the transfer pump is, but that don’t matter. If that is what was wrong I will be happy. Thank you again.

I just want to post this. I had the fuel filter regulator changed, never had a problem again. Thanks to Jehovah for guiding me.
