Trying to change the fuel filter on my wifes v70 AWD. Have found the access in the trunk area and loosened the bolt on the bracket that holds it on. But I cannot get to the feed line to the filter. I tried to get at from underneath but it is burried above the rear axel and drive system and I am afraid to pull on the filter and the line pops off and cannot get it back on. There seems to be no slack on the fuel line in order to get at the feed connection. Have found post for front wheel drive but nothing for the AWD.

 

Yes it a major pain to get to it. You only have the hole to work with. You will have to pull on the filter some then release it. It is worse getting the new filter on.
