V70 Engine/trans/ECU Swap '98 for '99
 

I've got a line on a complete '98 V70R engine, transmission, turbo, ECU, harness - the whole kit & kaboodle. I know the '98 is different than the '99. I'd basically be making a '99 into a '98. Any thoughts of unanticipated issues if I swap this into a '99 XC70 that needs an engine? :confused:

BTW I'm a pretty good wrench - I've done straight swaps before. ;)

I've decided to donate my running '98 v70 engine & ecu to the '99, since the '98 is going to be a parts car as soon as I can get the '99 S70 and the '00 Blazer legal & road ready.

Electronic throttle versus cable.

Did you ever do the swap want to do an engine swap from my 2000 v70 down to an older engine 1998 as my ecu is very hard to tune and remap as its denso.
