Hi all!

I have a 2005 V70 and want to remove and change the front grille (from the chrome to the black version). How do I go about removing the grille? Is it a straightforward pull-off job or will I need to remove the bumper etc.......if so I wont bother!

First of all, if you look into the grille area you will see 8 clips holding the grille on.you thenneed to carefully pull the right side first (It comes off easier this way). Once you get the first clip out, slide your hand behind the grille and push out the remainding 7 clips. You need to be really careful not to break the tabs off. Luckily I didn't but they look as if they would break quite easily. You will hear a few lous pops as you are releasing the clips but that is fine. If a clip doesn't pop out straight away, wriggle the grille until it comes free.
