Wheel bearing recall - 2004 AWD V70
 

7,000 miles out of warranty, a rear wheel bearing began to grumble. 6,000 miles later, the right front went bad as well. The mechanic nodded to two other Volvos in the yard with identical problems.

The brand was SKF. Since no one complained to NHTSA, Volvo bought a free ride IMO.

Was this an isolated anomaly, or have you had a similar experience?
