2012 Volvo XC60 T6 has blown off a crankshaft cover
Hey Volvo team,
I was on a long road trip with my family, our car is a Volvo Xc60 T6, it has 120,000km on the clock and has been a great smooth car since we bought it 6 months ago.
While driving, a warning for low oil popped up, we pulled over straight away and noticed oil all over the tire. We then got it towed to a mechanic who order part number 30637986.
Does anyone know how this could have happened, will this plug stay in with just pushing it in.

The mechanic installed it and looked over the PCV and I haven’t had a problem since.
The mechanic said it was more then likely just old rubber
