I have somehow overloaded the 12 volt power outlets in my XC 60 and they are no longer working. I have changed the fuses (two 15s) under the glove box, but they are still not working. All three, the front, back seat and cargo socket are no longer putting out power.
Is there another fuse, circuit breaker or rely that may need to be replaced?
Fuse 22 in the c fusebox is for the 2 outlets in the passenger compartment. They are switched so the CEM grounds a relay (2/193) to come on when key is on. The cargo 12v is fuse 7.
Some have mistaken the fuses in the CEM for the C fusebox that is next to it.
Thank you very much! Exactly what I needed! I had already changed fuses 22 and 7 (brand new from the store fuses). Even found a fault from the previous owner where fuses 21 and 22 had been incorrectly swapped. A 5 amp was in a 15 amp and the 15 amp in the 5 amp. Joy. /s
My handbook was very good showing me the fuses (yay Volvo!) and even relays and circuit breakers, but not which relay or control of this thing I was looking for.
I now see there are two more fuses I can easily check before I worry about the relay or circuit breaker.
Thanks again!
