2012 XC 60 Front Brakes!!!
 

Volvo XC 60 Front brake pads can be pretty easy to replace. One comment here. There is a Brake Caliper, in which the brake piston (s) is/are located. It's attached to the brake line, and is held on the brake bracket by two bolts which allow the caliper to slide when the brake is activated. Also, there is a brake BRACKET, to which the caliper is attached by the 2 slide bolts! It is attached to the steering mechanism by 2 beast bolts! NEVER remove those! It's nearly impossible, and unnecessary. To replace the brake pads, only remove the two slide bolts with an Allen key. You know, a hex wrench. Here's the rub. All the info herein and on UTUBE say the allen key is about a 7 mm key. Fine, maybe for them, but for my car, it ISN'T! Nor is it 8 mm or 10 mm. What's left???? RIGHT, it's a 9 mm allen wrench. Learning that little bit of info was like pulling twins out of a pregnant cow. You've been warned.
