Hi All,
Hey so, what do you call it when the headlights get brighter with the revs? I have that going on. now I have recently (like 6 mo.) changed out the battery and the alternator (I did it myself, did not use the OEM one), not sure if there are any codes thrown, on occasion I will get a low battery light as well. What do you guys think?
Thanks!

that's telling you your alternator is not producing enough current at idle to power all the devices. If you have a meter, here's a few quick tests to run: 1) engine off, measure battery voltage. An 80% charged battery will be in the 12.5 to 12.6V range. That's considered normal. If the battery is down say at 12.2 V it may barely have enough to crank the car. Now start the car and measure the battery voltage. It should be something over 14V. Last test is to turn on as many accessories as you can - rear window defroster, AC blower, high beams, stereo on loudly playing AC-DC etc. the battery voltage should remain over 13V at idle. I'd expect something higher than 13.5V here. If its below you will need to do some future investigating - I'd start by cleaning/tightening the battery terminals and the ground cable at both ends. I'd also inspect the cables for any melted insulation or swelling (a sign of corrosion within the cable fibers which will create resistance and a voltage drop). From there you may need to test the output voltage directly at the alternator (harder to do than at the battery terminals so this may be where you consult a pro.).
