2015 XC 60 slow to turn over, rear hatch works intermittent, anti skid light is on.
Hello,
Having strange experiences with my 2015 XC 60. The rear hatch doesn't always work electronically. When pushing the ignition button to start car, it sounds like its struggling to turn over for a half of second, but its noticeable. And now the anti skid idiot light comes on sometimes (Light comes on and displays "off"). Also, I sometimes get a low battery charge message. Battery is newer but to me it sounds like a voltage problem. or maybe alternator? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

Took car to mechanic. He tested battery. No issues. Hasn't acted up in a few days. I'm expecting to break down soon. Lol |

Car was dead this morning in garage. Called Geico and tow truck was here in less than an hour. Tow truck driver gave me a jump start. Drove five minutes to advanced auto and bought new diahard gold battery and they installed it too. Kid did a great job and I gave him

Reset your BMS now so it knows that you have a new battery or you will be replacing it again in a year or so.

It's the battery management system that alters the battery charging based on it's age and health. If you don't tell it that you have replaced the battery it assumes the battery is old and undercharges it.
