Hello all 👋🏽 I’m a car salesman and we just took in an XC60 and it is immaculate. All scheduled service done on time/early at Volvo. Wondering if it would be worth it for 3/4 years as long as I get an extended warranty? Downside-it has 93,XXX mi. on it. Any advice appreciated!

Mileage is pretty much a non-issue here. You've noted the car has been maintained to factory recommendations which is the key. Not sure of the cost of the extended warranty but that's just an insurance policy where you are betting the car will require covered repairs that would cost more than the policy. You didn't mention which engine etc (ie to determine if it has a timing belt vs chain) but you can google around for common issues for that year, known service bulletins etc. I regularly keep cars to 200K+ miles and just factor typical repairs into the total cost of ownership vs a newer model. Say you spend 2500 on repairs - to me that's the same as a 200 a month car payment.

Engine is the 2.0 turbo 4, and I think the service contract is around $3k, but even then, I could be out the door for well under $20k! It seems like a steal, but maybe I’m getting ahead of myself? I also don’t find very many time bomb issues on 2017’s, but maybe I’m not looking in the right places. I appreciate the response!
