Default 2022 XC60 - No heat, infotainment down

We purchased a new XC60 July 2022. Everything more or less working properly, I do find the transmission timing a little off but I figure that's normal. Once the cold weather hit, nothing but problems with the infotainment console which we understand is directly tied into the heat function. In the last month we've had to take the vehicle into the dealership 4 times to have them reset the system. Cannot describe how frustrated we are in the dead of winter to be a new car without a functioning heating system.

Is anyone having similar issues and if so what is your dealer doing about it? We are getting a very polite "we are sympathetic to your case but there's nothing we can do other than keep resetting" response from our dealership. They are a smaller dealership but in my mind they should be putting us into a vehicle that works properly until the matter is address completely, via corporate.

Is yours a PHEV? If so, you might want to read this: https://www.swedespeed.com/threads/n...v-mode.638401/

Looks like you need to escalate your case. You could start by talking to the manager or owner of the dealership. If you look in your owner's manual there is probably a contact to help you find regional management.

Are they telling you anything more than “they are resetting the system”?
Are they testing the 12V battery? Reporting any DTCs?

My infotainment system running v2.5 totally went blank last week (there’s another thread with more details). I also got an update to v2.5.2. Too soon to tell if that fixes it long term.

Note, I’m in a cold climate as well.

Version 2.6 is available, but only from a dealer service shop. It's not available for OTA. Maybe that would help, ask your service department.
