Has anyone noticed that their `22 XC60 randomly unlocks when you walk up to the car, both with or without a key or phone in your pocket? We just noticed that ours did this twice today. Wife does have an AppleWatch, but I didn't think Volvo was like Tesla with the automatic phone unlocking features;

 

We are experiencing exactly the same random issues since a couple of weeks or so. It appears to happen only when the vehicle is inside a closed space (?), but unclear if parked for hours outside may have been open for anyone.

Every month, new surprise. We are beginning to be tired about this un-mature sw issues from a 'top class' like Volvo

 

Believe I saw this issue on SwedeSpeed.....do a search there....and I thought it was tied into that persons Apple watch/phone.....some setting had to be disabled on the phone/watch.....

 

Do you recall the thread name? I've been looking on there and didn't find it.

Also it happened again last night. car unlocked the middle of the night. Wife's apple watch wasn't anywhere near the car.

 

Today after a number of random unlocks and a new sw version which was unable to load, FLAT BATTERY !

Towed to the Volvo oficial site. People in charge of the workshop opening big eyes: "never before", "this is the first time", bla bla bla

REALLY TIRED ABOUT THESE GUYS AND THIS TOP CLASS VEHICLE BUILDER !

We have reviewed the footage of a domestic surveillance camera covering our parking at home and... surprise, surprise: during two consecutive nights the car has self unlocked and locked every 4 mins. Probably it may happened the same when parked outside during the work day... so that explains the Flat Battery.

Suspect this all may be related with the Volvo app and some sort of misunderstanding between the vehicle and any bug of the app. We also noticed some self heating start without asking for... and those (unlock/lock and heating) are the only two things that can be done through the app.

Quite mature this 2022 edition.
