2022 XC60 remote climate not working
The subject says it all, really.
The 2022 XC60 is a fun car (an upgrade from my 2016 XC60 that I don't regret) but, as many posts here say, it has a lot of unpolished aspects.
For those who haven't seen the posts about wireless charging and google maps in the driver's screen: you just need to do a factory reset in the settings.
So some things can be relatively easily fixed, it seems.
Trying to tackle issues one at a time... Has anyone be able to remotely "pre-condition" the car? (whether through the smartphone app, or some other method)
I tried the other day, the app said the car would be ready in 30 min... it wasn't. It was just as hot as if I hadn't done anything.

I figured this would be the case. Same with SiriusXM, battery status in the Volvo Cars app, and CarPlay. Does anyone have a link to something official saying when/if these features are actually coming?

pre-conditioning isn’t working. I contacted Volvo about 10 days ago and was told that they were working on this issue. The also mention that the remote start option for 2022 cars should be released in 1-2 weeks.

Not mine
mine still isn’t working. Did you do anything specifically ?
yes a few people have reported it working on MY22 XC60 B5. I tried it Yesterday and this morning and it worked for me. Car on 1.7, iOS app on 5.7 and use climate start with 15 minutes or less prompted that it had to start car and did so.

I have also had problems with my new XC60 since getting it 4 months ago, lot of software ****les.
I have only got the remote climate working once and it didn't do much, to be fair I'm not sure what it was supposed to do, since then the remote climate hasn't worked at all, the remote locking is inconsistent at best. Volvo support's reply was there are issues with the App and their developers are working on it.
I have had issue with my audio - all audio going even the indicator sound, that was a known issue and Volvo had a software fix for that. After the last software update was sent to the car my maps have been very glitchy, I re-booted the infotainment (holding the screen button for 10 - 12 sec) and they seem to have improved since then.
The car actually stopped working on Friday and wouldn't start all weekend, electrics are all fine - it just wont start, and was put on a truck and taken back to the dealers this morning. I'm waiting to hear if its mechanical or software - I do love the car but I'm getting a bit fed up of these issues

Same thing here. I own an Android phone, and it does not work, but it works perfectly with my corporate phone (iPhone). I also reached out to Volvo, and they said it'll be available to everyone very soon, not they didn't provide a specific date.
