2023 XC60 Ultimate Infotainment Question

Hello - I have a new 2023 XC60 Utimate. If I open the drivers door without starting the car the infotainment/center display stays on even after closing the door. Any idea if this times out? And, if so, how long does it take to turn itself off? No issue with it staying on after turning the car off and exiting. Only when opening the door, not starting the car, and exiting. Thx!

My apologize yet I am totally confused by your question.... Can you restate to help me understand the question/issue?

Thanks.

Yes. When opening the door without starting the car, for example to get something out, the center display comes on and stays on even after closing the door. I’m curious if this is normal and if there is a time out function.

Yes, it is normal. Yes it will "time out" and turn off after a while. :)

If you lock the car everything will shut down immediately. That's what I do, to make sure there's no draw on the battery.
