Hi
So I had a 2010 xc60 R Design which came with spec 20" alloys, fantastic car until someone decided to play bumper cars with it. So having then owned a Jaguar F Pace for approx a month before realising I had bough a bag of S*** I moved it on and bought a 2016 XC60 which came with 18" as standard.
So I am looking to move up to either 20" or 22" alloys. I have read about a reinforcement kit, but can anyone confirm that XC60 II alloys will fit the original model, I have read about it in reverse but can the Mk 1 XC60 take any alloy in the XC60 range.
I'm not interested in a the tech talk about offset just want to see if anyone has done it and they are compatible.
Thanks

Check wheel-size.com to see the specifics for the 2010 vs the 2016. Volvo changed up the center bore in 2009 or 2010 (depending on model) to the spec used on the 2016 so wheels from a 2010 should bolt right up. I'm a bit confused about the direction of the swap - are you saying you have some 20 inch rims from a 2010 that you want to use on a 2016? from what I see all the specs are the same for both years including center bore, bolt pattern, and yes, even the offset. Don't know about a need for a reinforcement kit - are you sure that's not referring to after market rims that aren't designed to the Volvo's specs?
