Hello,

I can not decide what to buy ! The new 2019 xc60 d5 awd or t5 awd ?

Waiting for feedbacks and opinions !

depends where you are located. My general thoughts:

-For diesel vs gas engines, the fuel economy advantage is over rated - particularly in markets where diesel fuel is often 10%+ more expensive.
- Gas engines are cleaner and better for the environment - not that 99% of the population really cars :-(
- Diesels generally make better low end torque so there a certain driveability factor there - but modern gas engines have been tuned for low end torque via quick spool turbos and supercharging.
- There are fewer certified mechanics and fewer diesels in the US so that may impact long term maintenance, particularly if you wish to get away from dealer service.
- Diesels do tend to have greater longevity than gas (old Mercedes oil-burners are legendary for how long their blocks last).
