TMC no longer showing up on 2015.5 XC60
Hello. My 2015.5 XC60 is no longer providing real time traffic. It was getting this information via TMC ( Traffic Message Channel) which I realize newer vehicles do not use ( they use RTTI). I called Volvo on call and they said the map needed updating. I did this through Volvo but still no info. They said I need to turn on RTTI via settings in the navigation but I believe they are talking about newer vehicles. Even when I ask for Traffic info under the navigation menu it says no traffic info in reception area. I don't see any settings so I can get this feature back which worked so well until about 3 months ago. Does anyone have a solution?

In order to have the traffic, you need to have an internet connection. My 2015.5 stopped getting updates but when I upgraded to the new LTE from the sunset 3G module, you get 2 years oncall subscription included. That’s when the traffic started again, if I recall.
You may be able to make your traffic work if you use your phone as a tether / hotspot for the vehicle. I just have not tried it.
