Volvo xc60 2015 blown engine
We just bought a volvo 2015 xc60 2 months ago. The toyota dealership where we bought it gave us a 6 month drive train warranty. Last week we got an add oil message. There is not a dip stick. It's all electronic I guess? When I read the manual they warned not to drive the volvo. I called the dealership and they agreed. They came and picked it up. When their mechanic assessed the problem they told us we need an engine. The engine was leaking oil. We never seen oil anywhere. Now they just told us they found a used volvo rebuilt engine with 62000 miles on it. We. had 82000 miles on our engine. We think this car is a lemon. We have no choice but to accept this engine. I think our car is too old for the lemon law. What are your thoughts. Thank you.

Sorry but I did not think lemon law applied to used Vehicles.
Sorry for your loss - but hopefully your "6 month drive train warranty" will take care of the bill.
As far as "leaking oil" - some engines in that year range (the first year or so those engines were offered in the US) suffered from an oil burning problem. What Volvo did under warranty to solve that for many cars - was to replace the pistons and rings with a new style part. Retail cost for that would be a many thousand dollar repair. If your used soon to be installed engine is in the engine # range with the problem pistons - you might end up with a car that continues to burn oil.
