We have a 2018 XC60 and have found water in all four wells this was noticed after the car failed to start. This is an AWD model and we have a tunnel along the centre. On stripping out all four wells were very wet and the electrics were standing in water. The dealer has stripped it out and replaced the electrics fully dried and de - humidified the car. They have applied water to the outside to test for leaks and cannot find any. They have checked drain holes and grommets and AC drain again no problem. So no answer found. One theory from the dealer is that a window may have been left open but that is a guess and we have never had wet seats. Also how would substantial water migrate to all four wells. Has this problem been found before and is there any answer to it..

Hi
I have an xc60 2017 r design and we have warning lights coming on over the last 12 months it’s been back to Volvo Solihull 4 times in the year with various fault lights appearing on the Dash
I dropped it in just after Christmas and got a phone call the next day I was told the foot wells were full of water and the electrics were corroded
Volvo said it could be due to a leaking windscreen but weren’t 💯 sure
Volvo have had the car since 30/12/19 and we are still waiting to find out what’s happening
