XC-60 audio integration question
 

I'm just starting to research the XC-60 and I was wondering if you someone could tell me how an iPod integrates into the sound system. In one of the photos online I say a connector in the center console. I'm curious exactly how you can control the iPod once its connected. Will I be able to play music via spotify, or just the music app? Is there any bluetooth connectivity for music? A buddy of mine just got a new toyota and he is able to connect his phone to the stereo via bluetooth and listen to any music app through the stereo.

I have a 2012 XC60 with the 3.2L V6. Inside the center console there is a USB plug which will recognize your iPod/iPhone and can be controlled from both the steering wheel and the dash.
The BlueTooth integration also works really well as this is the first car that I've used BlueTooth in that actually shows you the Artist, Album and Track title of the currently playing song.

I'm pretty sure if you connect via BT streaming, you'll be able to run Spotify etc...

hmm I have a 2012 T6 AWD and though I can sync my iPod and my Blackberry for music, artist and title do not show up. Only track number. I also realized that I don't have a center base speaker which I thought would have been standard on a car like this. My previous car was an Audi A3 and it had more standard features than the Volvo and this center base speaker was one thing I liked.
