2005 XC 70 tail lights question
When the light switch is at "off" position, the front low beams (day time running lights) are on, but should the tail lights be also on? In other words, does the tail lights also run as day time running light? Right now, I don't see the difference when switching the light switch inside the car between the "on" and "off" positions.
Thanks in advance! |

That is normal on the Volvo's. All the lights are on at all times. Unless you have the DTL disabled thats how it is from the factory.

Thank you. Just needed a confirmation.
Can you also tell me when do you switch the light switch in the middle position? Under what circumstances do you do that? |
RE: 2005 XC 70 tail lights question
Pretty much only when you want to drive or sit with only the parking lights on.

RE: 2005 XC 70 tail lights question
It kind of freaked me out the first time I saw the tail lights come on with the DRL's. I was used to the domestic cars that only have the low beams (or parking lights) come on as DRL's.
