2008 xc70
 

Sorry, if this is the wrong forum or if this was asked before.

A few years back I had a 850 that I really liked. It had about 125k miles and started throwing some codes. I put a lot of money in it but finally gave up and sold it to a friend. Of course he drove it to over 200k miles.

Now I am looking at a XC70. The car is an 2008 and has about 113k miles. Asking price is $8750. It is a 2 owner car that was meticulously serviced. The seller bought it in 2011 at 60k miles before that the car was in a lease. Basically every service has been performed and all the service records are available from the second owner. I am hesitant because of my history with the 850 and the mileage. Am I overthinking? I understand that nobody can give me a guarantee but I would give up a manual 2010 VW Jetta sedan with about 63k miles. I really enjoy the Jetta but would have to sell if I get the Volvo. Per KBB both cars are similar in $$$.

The reason for looking at the XC70 is that we could use a slightly bigger car that could also tow a small pop up camper. With the Jetta I am very limited as to what I can tow mainly due to tongue weight. For the XC70 I can get better equipment like a class III and WD hitch. So keep the Jetta or get the XC70? Thanks in advance.
