Coolant issue
 

I have a 1998 XC70 that keeps losing small amounts of coolant. The radiator light goes off and on. No sign of coolant leak or contaminated oil.
The temp gauge stays at mid point with no other sign of overheating.
The recovery tank cap just split after a week of dash lite/ leak.
Thoughts?
