Front suspension woes.

We have a 2002 XC70 with about 110 k miles on it. About two weeks ago, we replaced the struts, springs, and mounts. We noticed a "list" in the rear, and sure enough we had a broken spring. We also had a "clunking" or "rattling" in the front suspension over rough roads, which is still there. It sounds like the sway bar is slapping the bottom of the car. We now have a new noise that happens when you turn the steering wheel at VERY low speeds or a dead stop. This one sounds like a knocking.

I have done some searching and found it may be the steering stops are binding? As for the klunking over bumps, well I have seen the gammit including bearings, bushings, tie rod ends, strut mounts, ball joints, and everything in between. I am not going to spend an arm and a leg to replace everything, so if someone has some more definite answers, it would be greatly appreciated.

You having the same problems? Sway bar links? Replaced the spring seats? (going to replace mine with XC 90 because it's an upgrade). Is everything nice and tight? It's the easy and stupid stuff that goes wrong.
