Default wheel and tire question

Slight dilema and I'd appreciate comment of course.

A fellow in town has wheels for sale from a 2004 S-60 and I am wondering it they will fit my 1998 XC?

He lists the tires that are on there as being 195/65/15 so they are a bit smaller that the stock 205/65/15 that I have on.

I did find a nice price from a local dealer on the stock size in either the General Altimax or the Goodyear Eagle RS-A.

So, the big questions are will the S-60 wheels fit and will the stock 205 fit on that wheel.

There is no urgency regarding the wheels buy my old wheels are just starting to blister so it's mostly cosmetic and just getting something different. I think he will come down on the wheels to like $150 for the four.

Thanks ..

Both have the same 5 x 108 (5-1/2) bolt pattern.Center bore is the same also. There might be a variation on offset of a few millimeters but you should be fine.

Tire Rack has the best prices, even after mount/balance charges.

The S-60 wheels would make a great set of snow wheels. Have your stock wheels repainted off season for under $200.
