headlight adjustment

Hi, I recently purchased a 2002 XC70, but the headlights are aiming too low, but the manual says I have to take it to the dealership for adjustment...is that really necessary? If not, how do I adjust them?

There should be an adjustment gear under the hood ontop of the housing of the headlight. However with the newer models they might not have done this.

It is a small socket only that is needed. I think it is like a 5mm or something like that. There is 2 adjusters per light.
