Loud Beep
 

Hello, I am unsure if this has been taken up.
my Volvo xc70 2004 D. Makes a loud beep noise when the engine is off. I believe this comes from the front speakers. I have called a few mechanics, but they are not sure what this is. Has anyone had this issue and perhaps found a way to end the beep?

I want to use my Volvo as my sleeping place, but this beep is so loud it would wake me up with a leaping heart. Very loud.

beep as in an alarm or horn? Do you hear it when the key is out and the car is off? Try locking/unlocking the doors 5x with the fob (or hard key in the drivers door) which should reset the alarm to see if that helps.

Beep as in a type of alarm. Short and loud. Thank you, I will try this and come back with the report.

Thanks again for the tip. Ive tried this for a few days,(yeah I am very thorough 😅). The result is the same with the beep. I am going to try to remove some fuses again, to see if that can fix it.
