Low pressure A/C port

Need to know where the low pressure port is for the AC system on my wife's 2001 XC-70 AWD. I see a port in the very front of the car, literally on top of the radiator, and then I also see a port buried down on the right hand side of the engine bay near the crank pulley.

Both have caps labeled 6Nm. I need to know which of these is the low side port so I know where to attach my guage to check the A/C charge pressure and possibly re-charge the system.

Thanks,

Glenn

RE: Low pressure A/C port

The one that is buried is the Low Pressure port.
But pretty easy to get to.

The steering fluid and coolant bottle just release when pulled on.
If you want you can seperate them. That is easy to.

What is happening with the A/C?
Does it seem as though it is freezing up?
Does it not blow cold?

There is a couple of small problems with the A/C's on these cars but not alot.
Not like prier years.

RE: Low pressure A/C port

Thanks Tech,

Nothing really seems to be wrong with the A/C, but since we bought the car used, I want to check the A/C charge before we go on our summer vacation. I just checked my son's 850 and it was a little low, so I added some R-134a and it is now fine. Figured I should check the wife's A/C while I was at it.

Appreciate the help.
