I have the same problem, but I left the key on this morning for about 1 to 2 minutes, made sure I heard the fuel pump running, I heard the hum start and stop, then tried to start the car and it fired up...personally I think my ecm is faulty, but I'm still searching for the correct answer to my problem....it does this to me every now and then...have you checked to see if you have fuel pressure at the right side of the fuel rail, there is a shraeder valve there...take a rag and press the pin in the center of the valve in. if you don't get a short bleat of fuel...your fuel pump is faulty..or maybe you have a real badly clogged filter?????? But at least you will know it's in the fuel system...could ber a bad relay also...good luck.
