I want to make story short, I bought a 2002 V70 XC suposed to be a good runner, went to pickup last weekend, drove the car 56 miles from the dealership and the car showed " No oil pressure" light, I drove to the gas station and put in some oil, but light still showed no oil pressure.
then I started hearing a banging noise inside engine, it sounded like a stuck metal.
I called the dealer and told hime where I parked the car for him to come and tow the car back to his dealership, I was more than 800 miles away from home, and I want this car to be shipped to me, can anyone tell if that "no oil pressure" warning means that the oil pump is not working? is there anything else beside oil pump that help oil circulate in the engine?

The oil pump is the only thing that circulates oil. If you're hearing banging noises, that is very bad. Tell the dealer you want your money back.

If this route is closed, well, we'll help you fix the issue at the minimum cost (er, please note that in Volvos or any makes, a damaged engine repair's minimum cost is not as minimum as a box of ice-cream; caramel-anything is my favourite).
