Default Weather Car tire Lifetime depends on the Year of Manufacture?

It is learnt that Car tires have life time normally up to 30K miles/ 50K Km. But I want to know weather Car tire Lifetime also depends on the Year of Manufacture?

I've driven a gas 2008 3.2 XC70 since 2008 and a 2009 D5 diesel when I am back in Iceland. The 3.2 gas on regular 87 octane gets 20 mpg consistently in town no matter how bad the traffic, how cold, how much stuff I have on the roof, etc. The best I have ever got on the highway was 22mpg. The D5 diesel gets 32 mpg in the same kinds of traffic. I have been able to get 45-47mpg on the Ring Road but I also tend to keep it around 45mph.

I think both the gas and diesel cars are fantastic. Although I love that inline 6 in the 3.2 (as I also love the 2.9 inline 6 in my 960) I wish I could buy a D3 or D5 in the states. Both the gas and diesels are fantastic cars. The 2012 cars with navigation have a much nicer dash layout but I won't be replacing my older cars for some time. I know I can get 250k miles out of each without too much trouble.
