I own a 1998 Volvo Cross Country 70 and all of a sudden the CD player stopped playing. I put CDs in the player to try and play them and all that shows on the display is it going through each slot then reading 00-00. I have tested all the CDs on other players and they work fine so I know its the actual player. I don't know what happened or how to fix it!! Please help

 

Is that the single cd in dash or cd changer? Last time that happened to me (different vehicle) one of my kids had stuck a couple of cds in the single cd player! The player didn't like that too much.

 

Its a cd changer! You load the disks in the back of the car then the display is up front

 

Had a similar problem with changer in different vehicle years past. It was a stuck cd as I remember. Had an extra cd in the cassette/changer by accident, and didn't kick back out. Good luck and let us know what it was / solution when you have it figured out. Sorry couldn't be of more help.
