Xc70 hard start.
Hello, i've got a problem. Like 3 weeks ago my volvo xc70 '07 begun to hard start. It has to crank for like 5-15 seconds to start. I'm worried, because every start is like this. I checked with delphi ds150e fuel pressure values. Did fuel pressure regulation valve adaption - nothing changed. Can someone tell me are those values normal and where should i check next?

Fuel pressure sensor is jumping to 400k hPa, control valve is changing 193mA-195mA-197mA-200mA-202mA. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/volvofo...1bca7fcf38.jpg Keyfob to 3rd position. Fuel pressor changes for a couple seconds for 6500hPa to 8700hPa and the pressure valve is going 195mA-197mA-200mA-202mA. |
The problem is only to start up the car, then its all good with the car. I have an idea that i should check fuel injectors, i haven't changed them after buying that volvo.

cold start issues can be related to temp sensor, air intake leaks or fuel pressure (ie pressure bleeds off overnight). Did you try measuring the pressure at the rail prior to a cold start? I've seen 25 PSI as a reference point (ie should be above 25 PSI - once the pump kicks on when you crank, it will build up pressure so my thinking is you are losing pressure at the car sits (ie bad pressure regulator, leaky injector) and it takes 15 seconds or so for the pump to bump up the pressure at the rail.
