I wanted to know if anyone experienced a similar problem. When stopping I brake normally but then the pedal begins to sink. I have to depress it and when doing so the pedal stays and holds firm. Fluid is full and recently changed. Has this happened to anyone?
Also I suggest staying away from this dealer in Washington, DC Volvo Washington, DC - Great Prices on New Volvo XC90, S80, C30 & More friendly service but dreadful technicians: multiple complaints of rear end: dealer: no problem new euro car repair in manhattan: both shocks SHOT $1200. repeated brake concern: dealer: no problem manhattan: concern. Rattle underneath car repeated complaints: dealer:can't find: manhattan: dust cover right rear wheel needs replacement BUT forget that, your left wheel bearings are shot and it was wobbling on the lift!!. The other mechanics came to view it) and declared the car not roadworthy. $600
Thoughts on brakes? Do these cars just begin breaking down like crazy at 80k miles?
