AC “on” but No Blower. Fuses Good.
05 XC90. AC compressor engaging/working fine. Blower won’t come on (manual **** indicates it’s on). Checked all fuses - all is good.
The whole ole system was working fine. Pulled into gas station to refuel, and the system wouldn’t work when I restarted the vehicle. I pulled every fuse (all three panels!) - all checked Ok. I then restarted the car - and everything back to normal! AC on and blowing cold.
A week went by - same thing. After gas station refill the blower wouldn’t turn on. AC compressor appears fine, all fuses good - but I can’t get the blower going now.
Thoughts? Is there a relay or something that’s gone bad?
cheers,

Could be the blower motor or a blower motor resistor. Try tapping lightly on the back of the blower motor with a hammer with the fan selector on high. If it does come on you will be needing a blower motor. If that doesnt work check the power wire for 12 volts at the blower motor. If you have 12 volts I would suspect the blower motor.

AC on but NO Blower
I am having the same issue...... I have a 2012 XC90 with over 175k.... I'd rather not spend $1500 to fix it..... It appears the rear AC blower is working... Any way I can rig it so I use the rear AC blower for the front? I'm hoping to get through the next 1-2 years before getting a newer car.....
