Aftermarket headlights
Hello everyone, have a 2005 xc90 with awful halogen headlights. Tried to sand, but no luck. Thinking to buy some tyc cause the dealer is asking an arm... my question is: did someone replace his headlights more than 2-3 years ago. How did it last. I know it’s cheap and I’m not allowed to expect miracles, but still want to have an idea. Thanks a lot everyone, regards. |

Another option is to wet sand the headlamp lenses and finish with 800 grit wet sand to get them smooth and uniform.
Then, ask a local body shop to spray clear on them the next time that they set up to shoot a panel or small job. The headlights come out of the vehicle very easily. This is the best "repair" out there. |
Thanks a lot Perrin, that’s what I was thinking about, to put some 3M clear film on them since new, to have it as an additional protection. Thanks a lot once again for the input. Regards. |
