cold (cool) weather problem
Hey guys, new member, first post. My 2010 3.2 FWD XC90 is having an issue on cold mornings. It starts fine but upon accelerating, it spits and sputters for a moment then goes on. There are 3-4 stop signs from my driveway to the main road and it does this at each one of them. Then, after maybe 5 minutes of driving, it's fine, and starts accelerating just fine.
Doesn't do it at all if the temp is 50 degrees or above.
I've taken it to the dealer twice now. The first time it did it for them (they kept it overnight) so they reflashed the computer and that seemed to fix it for a few months.
Then, we had a cold snap and it did it again. Took it back to the dealer and they kept it for two days but both mornings were in the 60's so it did not do it.
Anyone have an idea of what is going on with this thing?
Thanks and glad to be a member.
