I’m looking at a 2022 XC90, gasoline only. The salesman says that an engine block heater is not needed. I live in an area that can get below -40 Celsius in winter fairly often. Cold starting anything in that temp is just unnecessary abuse in my opinion. Even with full synthetic 0W oil. What are your thoughts on this? Is there a block heater that can be installed? Thanks.
