Fixing jerky acceleration in N/A 3.2L

Looking for recommendations to smooth out the acceleration in my 2014 XC90. I've noticed some issues accelerating from a stop. It's not a smooth acceleration, and tends to lurch forward at two different points--once it hits about 5 MPH and again around 15 MPH. My 2007 S80 also came with this drivetrain and had the same issue. It feels like turbo lag in a N/A engine.

There's nothing wrong mechanically. I've driven mine and other 3.2's with the Aisin and it's universal. I always assumed it was a traction control issue, but turning it off didn't smooth the powerband like I'd hoped.

Anyone else annoyed with this? Are there any settings I can change to smooth this out? Maybe a programmer I can buy? Any help appreciated.

how many miles? Are you talking about when the engine is in a gear - not when shifting?? Have you had a shop do a run-time analysis to monitor things like fuel pressure/fuel trim etc? Sounds to me like you may be running lean or have a fuel pressure issue or an issue with spark...
