Drove car 1500 miles to Florida, spent a week, 1000 miles into trip on way home , the car goes into limp mode on highway pulled over to break down lane,and could only move car about 10 miles an hour.

Limp to motel at next exit,shut car off,go in to get room for night, come out start car to drive to room and the car is running fine again. So drove the rest of the way home,no problems, ran fine.

Pulled codes when got home ECM 5200 rpm sensor and ECM981A engine control module internal fault.

Car has been running fine ever since.

Could this have been caused by bad fuel?
