Our xc90s alarm keeps tripping. What causes this, how can it be fixed?

anybody got a clue... the alarm triggered check vehicle message pops up basically everytime i get in the car. I park the car in front of my work window, to listen for the alarm going off. Sometimes I either miss the alarm going off or it doesnt siren, but the message is there when i get in and start it up. I took the car over and had the battery tested. its good. I called the dealer, they said that it is the alarm siren module and it cost me around $450 to get it fixed. That is crazy. Any help on how to disable or fix this would be great...
