Parking Brake Adjustment
New site user looking for answers.
During "safety inspection" in Germany, been told that parking brake front (LH) =120 and parking brake front (RH) = 190. Not sure what #s mean, but need to adjust parking brake such that numbers are closer. Anyone know how to adjust parking brake on '04 XC 90 (American Spec)? Also, any advise on what the numbers mean? Any help appreciated. Unclerichiezjr |
I believe the numbers mean the drag on each brake.
I forget where the adjuster is I thought it was self adjusting. |

The adjuster is under the center console, but I do not know if it allows independent R/L adjustment. to get to it You need to remove plastic panel on the side by the seat cushion.

It is a foot pedal, but the adjustment screw/cable connection is under the radio/climate controle in the bottom of the center console -I had my park brake adjusted by dealer and they told me it was there. |
Oh ok it has been like 4 years since I did one.
